How-To: The Importance of applying Mineral Oil to your boards
Applying food-grade mineral oil monthly will keep your boards from drying out and avoid cracking. This will increase their life span for many years and keep them looking beautiful.
1. Apply oil liberally to the top side of the wooden board.
2. With a paper towel or clean rag, rub the oil into the entire surface using moderate pressure.
3. Place down a towel and flip board and repeat steps 1 and 2 on the bottom of the board.
4. Let the board dry standing up or hanging for a day
Your boards should be good as new!
